OUR MISSION

ESTABLISHED 2026

We believe everyone deserves clear, honest answers about the environment they live in.

Our mission is to investigate mold and indoor air quality concerns through thorough assessments, detailed analysis, and evidence-based reporting. We are committed to looking beyond surface-level answers, asking the difficult questions, and helping people understand what their findings mean—especially when their concerns have gone unanswered.

By combining scientific rigor with an independent, people-first approach, we empower families and property owners to make informed decisions, pursue appropriate solutions, and take meaningful steps toward healthier indoor environments.

We believe trust is earned through transparency, attention to detail, and the willingness to follow the evidence wherever it leads.

ABOUT ME

The person behind every inspection.

My name is Emi Nishani, and my professional background spans environmental science, industrial hygiene, mold assessment, and sustainability. I graduated from Wayne State University with a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and earned graduate-level certifications in Sustainability from Harvard University Extension School and Sustainable Business from Harvard Business School Online. Throughout my career, I've conducted mold assessments in schools, hospitals, apartment buildings, and other environments; overseen community air monitoring programs for the LaGuardia and JFK airport redevelopments; and managed environmental projects involving hazardous materials, air quality, and ecological restoration. These experiences have shaped my investigative approach and commitment to understanding the complexities of the environments we live in.

My decision to establish an independent mold assessment business is both professional and personal. Having once experienced a mold concern in my own home that was dismissed by my landlord, I understand how frustrating and disempowering it can feel when you suspect something is wrong but struggle to get answers. That experience, combined with my years in environmental consulting, reinforced my belief that people deserve more than surface-level assessments or generalized conclusions. I want to make detailed environmental information more accessible, help people feel heard, and empower them to make informed decisions about their homes, their health concerns, and their futures. My commitment is to thorough investigation, transparent communication, and following the evidence wherever it leads.

Making Information More Accessible

My goal is to make detailed mold assessments more accessible to people who need answers but may not know where to begin.

Whether someone suspects a problem in their home, has concerns about their indoor environment, is experiencing health issues they want to discuss with their healthcare provider, is navigating a difficult landlord situation, or is considering purchasing or renting a property, I believe they deserve access to meaningful information.

For some, that information may help support conversations with a landlord or property manager. For others, it may provide a better understanding of a property before making a significant financial commitment. And for many, it may simply offer greater clarity and peace of mind.

I want people to feel empowered to ask questions, understand their findings, advocate for themselves, and make decisions that are right for their individual circumstances.

Indoor environmental quality is not just a building issue. It can have significant implications for people's health concerns, financial security, comfort, and overall well-being. The information people receive about their indoor environments matters.
