EXPERT INDOOR AIR QUALITY CONSULTING

Mold Assessments, Indoor Air Quality & Lab Report Interpretation

Odilon Environmental provides detailed mold assessments, indoor air quality evaluations, and expert lab report interpretation. We help homeowners, renters, landlords, and organizations understand what may be in their building, what it means, and what steps to take next.

Why Air Quality Matters

The air inside a building can affect how people feel and function every day. Mold exposure may contribute to coughing, congestion, wheezing, headaches, skin irritation, fatigue, worsening asthma or allergies, and other health concerns. People with asthma, allergies, or weakened immune systems may be more sensitive. If you notice musty odors, visible growth, or ongoing symptoms, professional testing can provide clearer answers about the air in your building. A careful assessment can help identify possible mold and give you clearer information about the air you breathe.

Mold is far more complex than many people realize. There are more than 100,000 known species of mold, and thousands of species have the potential to grow indoors. Yet conversations about mold are often reduced to a few familiar terms, particularly "black mold," as though color alone tells us what we're dealing with.

The reality is much more complicated. Black mold is not a single species, and appearance alone cannot reliably tell us its identity, characteristics, or potential significance. Different species have different biological characteristics, and our understanding of their interactions with indoor environments and human health continues to evolve.

Rather than relying solely on visual observations or generalized conclusions, I provide assessments that explore the available evidence in greater depth. I consider building conditions and moisture sources, utilize appropriate sampling and laboratory analysis, and help clients understand what their results actually tell them. My commitment is to thorough investigation, transparent communication, and evidence-based assessment—without predetermined conclusions or unnecessary alarm.

Ultimately, I believe people deserve more than a quick answer. They deserve the opportunity to understand what's happening in their environment and the information necessary to decide what comes next.

Beyond the Surface. Into the
evidence.
